Hydro ejection systems

Brief description:
Hydro ejection vacuum creating systems are widely adopted at industrial facilities that do not have sufficient amounts of saturated medium-pressure steam or for some reason its cost is too high.
In units of this type, liquid (diesel fuel, water, etc.) is used as the working (active) medium, supplied to ejector nozzles by means of high-pressure pumps.
The use of ejectors with liquid as a working medium allows achieving higher compression ratios in one stage, however possibilities of obtaining a vacuum below 15-20 mm Hg are limited.
When designing such units, special attention is paid to preparation of working medium, which, after contact with pumped gases in ejector, is discharged to separator for fractionation. During operation, the active medium (working fluid) is saturated with ejecting gases (light hydrocarbons), and therefore high-quality separation of liquid and gas is the key to the unit efficiency, since an active medium saturated with gases is not able to provide the required parameters. Also, during operation, the system needs to be charged with “fresh” active medium.
Engineers of JSC IC Technohim have extensive experience in separating of gas-liquid, liquid-liquid media and designing equipment with a particular set of highly efficient internals for specific conditions.
Unit includes:
- precondenser;
- hydro-ejector;
- high-pressure pump;
- separator;
- hydraulic seal.
Equipment composition may vary depending on specific process conditions and reasonable requirements of the Client.
NEW!
An ejector is a mass transfer equipment with extended contact surface of gas and liquid in a boundary turbulent layer.
Application field:
- purification of gases from acidic components;
- units for recovering CO2 from flue gases.
